Is Spring here yet??

Even though we are ready for spring Andre has enjoyed himself this winter. He got to have a playdate with Sierra and his girlfriend Canaan and they made edible snowmen! The snowmen survived just long enough for a picture before they were dismantled and eaten. :)

Here is Canaan proudly showing off her snowman masterpiece. (I'm pretty sure there is dried mango in her mouth already preventing her from smiling bigger)

On sunny and not-quite-so-dang-cold days Andre enjoys going to the neighborhood park. He loves the swing and has recently discovered the sand volleyball court where he will sit down and try to bury himself in sand.

On special occasions Daddy comes with us! Andre had fun swinging on the "big" swing with Daddy. yippee!!!

This year Andre was invited to his buddy Preston's "annual" Valentine party. He was super excited to play with his friends and make his own cupcake! In the end he opted for his peanut butter sandwich instead of the cupcake. (Daddy would have been proud) And Mommy sacrificially ate his cupcake for him. :)

Here is his I'm having-a-blast-but-trying-to-stay-cool look....."I wish these kids would get out of my way so I can color"...

At last! Andre loves to color and had fun at this big table all by himself coloring a picture. His favorite color is orange apparently- I think its from a sesame street episode where we watched an orange crayon being made from start to finish. I have to watch him though...he WILL try to eat them!

Unfortunately, Andre came down with a cold not long after V-day...but we snuggled up and got to enjoy the beautiful view of the snow from our house. This is the backyard...

...the front yard....

He didn't get to make a snowman this year since he didn't feel well, but I reminded him about the marshmallow snowman and that seemed to cheer him up....and make him hungry! :)

Most recently we took Andre to get his FIRST HAIRCUT!!!!! Great Clips was busy so we took him to Clark Salon where his Daddy cut it!! :) He loved the attention and the tootsie roll pop mommy gave him while he sat very still.

Even baby Selah was there for this important milestone in her brother's life. Don't worry-his hair is still curly, its just not hanging in his eyes anymore. I will admit he looks a bit older now. (sniff, sniff)

Here is the hair we saved for the baby book!

Of course Paw-Paw was there to witness the blessed event and to take pictures and video. Three generations of Clark boys. We are teaching Andre to say, "Thank you for calling Clark Salon, this is Andre how may I may help you?" So far its just "cuk".

Well it won't be much longer until we have another blogger in the family! Baby Selah is due in two weeks and her room is ready and waiting.

Can't wait to meet you baby Selah!!

We love you already...

Andre is ready to show you his dance moves...
